Norm Wright who started Wrightway Homes in 1964 has built throughout the Wellington region for over forty years. The family business has concentrated on Woodridge primarily over the recent ten to fifteen years and has produced in excess of 500 homes in Woodridge.

With our present zoning and resource consent approvals in Woodridge we have in excess of 500 properties to build including a range of Architecturally designed high specification townhouses.

Views

On the eastern side you are surrounded by the farmland hills of Horokiwi through to Woodridge farm. On the western side the view stretches from Mount Kaukau and the hills above Johnsonville and Churton Park through to Porirua, and looks over the underlying suburbs. From higher areas in Woodridge, you can see the mountains in the South Island behind the Ohariu Valley ranges.

The proposed future development of Woodridge Farm will provide panoramic views of Wellington's harbour, through the Hutt Valley, Eastbourne, the Heads and of course Wellington City.

Services

Johnsonville Shopping centre is Wellingtons busiest and only five minutes away. Newlands shopping, Newlands College and Intermediate are only 2 minutes away With Newlands College having an excellent reputation and track record for academic achievement and high quality education that stresses both breadth of opportunity and the pursuit of excellence. Not surprisingly, Newlands College is now zoned due to popular demand and increasing student numbers. Woodridge residents are automatically accepted.

There are also plenty of primary schools and kindergartens to choose from in the area. Woodridge is well serviced by Newlands Coach Services, with a full peak and off peak service into Wellington CBD and Johnsonville.

Security and Consistency

Woodridge is Wellingtons only fully controlled development where sections are not sold separately. The design process from earthworks, roading, services and reserves through to home designs and sections, sales and marketing are all controlled by Woodridge Homes. This avoids ad hock development where someone could build something totally out of character or value in the area.

All residents have the security that all homes are built with the top of the range specification that cannot be found in any other green field development.
